Information regarding the 2010 Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany

*In 2010 the Passion Play will be performed between May 15th and October 3rd in Oberammergau, Germany.

*The opening show will be on Saturday, May 15, 2010.

*The final show is planned for Sunday, October 3, 2010.

*The Passion Play will be presented on 102 days.

*For the first time in 2010 the performance will begin in the afternoon.  The second part will follow after the intermission and last into the evening.

*The first part will start at approximately 2:30pm and will end around 5pm.

*The second part will start at approximately 8pm and will end around 10:30pm.

*In 2010 the community of Oberammergau will have performed the play for the 41st time.

*The Passion-Theater Oberammergau has 4,720 seats.

*Worldwide a total of 500,000 tickets are offered.
